MAGAZINES-NEWSLETTERS
As a member of the Knights of Columbus you and your family enjoy many benefits, including 12 free issues annually of Columbia magazine, the world’s largest Catholic family magazine and the Knightline newsletter, the monthly newsletter featuring news from the Supreme Council.

INSURANCE PRODUCTS
Since our founding in 1882, the primary mission of the Knights of Columbus has been to protect families from the financial ruin caused by the death of the breadwinner. Joining the Knights of Columbus provides you with eligiability in the top-ranked Knights of Columbus Insurance, and many more family and personal benefits. With more than $92 billion of insurance in force and a full-time field force of more than 1,400 serving our members and their families, we are proudly fulfilling our founder, Father Michael J. Givney’s, vision through Permanent Plans, Term Plans, Long Term Care Plans, Annuities, and Disability Income Plans.

SCHOLARSHIPS
The Knights Supreme Council has awarded scholarships totaling more than $1.4 million to 575 students. Most recipients are the children of Knights or Knights working toward bachelor’s degrees at Catholic colleges and Catholic universities in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Philippines. The Knights Supreme Council Scholarships include the Fourth Degree Pro Deo and Pro Patria Scholarships, the John W. McDevitt (Fourth Degree) Scholarships, and the Fourth Degree Pro Deo and Pro Patria (Canada) Scholarships. The Knights Supreme Council also provides other scholarship programs including Endowed Scholarships, the Matthews and Swift Educational Trust Scholarships, Vocations Scholarships, Fellowships at The Catholic University of America, and the Bishop Charles P. Greco Graduate Fellowships.

The Knights Massachusetts State Council Scholarships offer five $1000 scholarships.

Knights Council 12897 Scholarships are also available. Applicants must be a high school senior who is a member of St. Gabriel the Archangel parish and who is planning to further his/her education.

How To Join

Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practicing Catholic men in union with the Holy See, and who are at least 18 years old. A practicing Catholic is one who lives up to the Commandments of God and the precepts of the Church.
