Grief Group Ministry

A support group  to help those who have experienced loss in their lives.  Our primary misson is to help bring healing to the wounds caused by grief and loss. Oftentimes with loss, many experience such tremendous pain and hurt that they struggle in so many areas of their lives-  including their faithlives.

Haitian Ministry

The Haitian Ministry meets monthly to discuss our parish’s twinning relationship with St. Anne’s in Haiti, including ongoing and new projects, future trips and current concerns in Haiti. Any parishioner interested in our work to support our brothers and sisters in Haiti is welcomed to join.

Hospitality Coffee Hour

Coffee and donuts are a wonderful way to mingle with and get to know your fellow parishioners. After Sunday masses, coffee and pastries are offered to gather people together and share fellowship. Different groups are invited to be responsible for sponsoring the treats and fundraising is sometimes used for teen groups during the gathering.

Lectors

Lectors are used at each mass to proclaim the Word of God. There is a training and schedule. Readings, prayers of the faithful, mass parts and songs are announced. Junior lectors are used at children masses. Often pairs of lectors are used during a single mass.

Liturgical Dance

The ministry is one where prayer is offered through the use of one’s body. All motions are an attempt at interpreting the song and is in itself an expression of prayer. No special training is necessary and practices are needed to learn choreography.

Liturgy Committee

Liturgy Committee meets monthly to evaluate liturgical celebrations and plan future liturgies including symbols, music and décor.

Marian Adoration Statue

The Mary statue is offered to parishioners to take home and add to their family devotions for the week.  A sign-up sheet is available.

Marriage Encounter

The mission of Worldwide Marriage Encounter is to proclaim the value of Marriage and Holy Orders in the Church and in the world.  Weekend retreats are offered.
